1st Outdoor Model Shooting with FAILED Flash

You know, maybe you don't know, I love photography. I love to shoot here shoot there with my BIG BIG camera but I seldom join any PURPOSED PHOTOSHOOTING such as events shooting or wedding shooting. They makes me feel like a REPORTER and I really dun like that. Somemore my skill is TOTALISAK.

However, I just got my Cybertik external flash gun last month but until now I still unable to master it. For me it's easier to use it for indoor shooting (especially camwhoring) but for outdoor, I am totally clueless about it.

Okay, on this nth-to-do Sunday, I joined my 1st outdoor model shooting with a big group of photographers. We have two pretty models and we shot somewhere around Jalan Bukit Bintang.

And here are some of the products. Most of them are taken using flash.

Actually I didn't communicate much with the models but just follow those SIFUs to shoot. And most of the time I was COMMUNICATING with my flash gun LOL.

I don't know. Until now I still haven't master the external GUN that attached on the BODY of my camera. Where can I find any tutorials or something about that? Anyone know?

Today = 24/1/2010 = 29 days after my previous post = 24 days after 2010 new year = 20 days before Chinese New Year.

Although CNY's still 20 days to go, I've already prepare some important things for it.

X'mas 2009 at KL

Previously I didn't so sensitive about this day and mostly I juz went to Gurney Drive to celebrate with frens. What I see there was not warm and romantic Christmas celebration but people shouting and spraying each other WTF.

This year's X'mas was a lil bit different. I am at KL for my uni project and therefore I planned my celebration here. And, I actually do quite a lot for X'mas....eve.

I used a big Santa Face wallpaper on my lappy. Thanks to hongkiat.com.


On 24th the romantic Christmas eve, I wore a RED HOT underwear. Maybe it's a good way as I dun have Santa Claus's big red coat.


I went to meet Pauline's cousin which came from Penang. She's staying in this inn near BTS. It's quite a comfortable and cheap budget hotel to stay in.

However the location of the hotel cant be found in Google Map.

While waiting for the girls to ready, I designed a new way to wear Christmas hat.


We went to Pavilion, and saw a lot of Christmas trees.


And, of course, I start to take out my goddamn big heavy camera.

Besides couples I do saw a lot of Gays and Lesbians there.

And duno why I juz love to take photo with them.

And this is Pauline and her cousin, holding balls.


After that we watched Avatar. It's a fucking awesome movie with fucking lots of BLUE PEOPLE in the movies. Sadly I cant see any blue bird.


This is the condition around Jalan Bukit Bintang at about 10pm. WTF!


All people are preparing their weapons and start to wear the stupid santa hats.

While walking I saw this pity pool filled with SABUN. WTF again!


I have to stand and eat McD due to such fucking atmosphere. WTF!


And MCD didn't deduct the service tax even we dun have a chair to sit. WTF!


This foreign guy even sit on the floor to enjoy his meal WTF.

The rest of the story was that we have been sprayed until my face really look like a santa claus and there's so crowded that people juz pushing around, uncivilizedly.

"Ding dong!" It's 12am! Merry Christmas! Ho ho ho! All people start to be crazy and attack people around. WTF! I was pushed by those fuckers around me and it's so difficult to get out from the crowd.

Wait a minute, where is my goddamn HANDPHONE?

WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!

Review: The Storm Warriors 2

I duno why FUNGWAN is called "Storm Warriors" but not "Wind and Could" LOL. It's a f*cking sux movie with lots too much of slow motion fighting scenes which are believed to prolong the total length of the movie. Compared with the 1st episod which was produced 11 years ago, I believe that most of you will feel disappointed of this sucky episod 2.

The story line of this movie is soooo sux! No suspense, no climax, all we can see is just goddamn boring fighting scenes. And about the slow motion fightings, I can feel that the directors are using the same method in the movie "300" as a REFERENCE xD.

I'm not going to reveal the story here. Maybe it cant be revealed as it has no story at all LOL. The only good thing about this movie is that the CGs and the effects are quite stunning, maybe.

One advise from tonywan.com : If you are FUNGWAN's fans, better download it and watch for free. But if you are not, better don watch it at all.

How to Become a Pro Photographer

Let's straight to the point without any introduction about how to become a pro photographer/camera man. (This is an introduction lah wtf)

1. Use DSLR
An ugly truth for cameras nowadays: The bigger and more inconvenient a camera is , the better it is. Big camera always produce superb results rather than a small one.


2. Buy all the lens & accessories
There are various of DSLR accessories in the market. Without any doubt, just f*cking BUY THEM ALL.


3. Use Adobe Photoshop
Sometimes your settings are deviated from what you want, or you are too lazy to make any setting at your camera, this is a right software for you. Just use it to adjust your photos for any desired results.


3. Join photography forum.
Just join these. You can share and learn some bullshits with other awesome photographers.


4. Use Flickr.
You can see lots of different photos submitted from different users all around the world. You also host your photos online using flickr. The compressed image quality of flickr is still very good if compared to another photo hosting website.


5. Willing to do extraordinary stunts in the public.
Look at these examples will do.


Are you willing to do anything just to get a good shot?

6. Dress like a photographer.
I am not talking about wearing a cap, a t-shirt and a jean with a big stupid camera bag (with many cameras and lens inside) hanging at your back.

WTF!!!

What My Name Can Do

I have quite a weird 1st name ~ Wan. It sounds like a Malay name and it already caused lots of misunderstandings and questions especially when i was introducing myself to some strangers. Some more my dark skin makes the situation even worse.

I am not a f*cking Malay. And I am not Wan SaiFul or Wan Si Fat.

But I am a pure f*cking chinese LOL.

Despite of the above matter, actually I am very proud of my name. Lemme tell you why.

I owned the famous shopping centre in Petaling Jaya ~ the Wan Utama.


I starred in "The Wan" after just after "The One" by Jet Li.


I also involved in music industry, and formed a group called Blue Bird BlueWanLove, and our most famous song is "Wan Love", of course.


However, my team members all sux.

Afterwards I left and form a new group which consists of 5 similar members,

called The Wan Republic.


Okay, stop the craps. My name wasn't that lucky for me. But at least I can make some jokes with it. LOL.
